Platelet Rich Plasma

As we age our skin loses its ability to synthesize new elastin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid, causing it to lose its original firmness and produce fine lines and wrinkles. Scientific studies have shown that platelet rich plasma (PRP, a naturally occurring substance in blood) can be critical in triggering and accelerating the skin’s regenerative mechanisms. By administering platelet rich plasma treatments, our clients benefit from:

  • A reduction in wrinkles (facial areas such as forehead, nose, mouth, chin, and the neck & hands) Improved skin tone, texture & elasticity

  • Relief from coarse pores, pigmentation, & erythema Reduced facial swelling & folds (eye bags, nasolabial fold, etc.)

  • Firmer, smoother, softer, and younger looking skin

Besides hydrating and repairing the skin, platelet rich plasma can be an effective treatment for the restoration of thinning or lost hair by boosting the growth of hair follicle stem cells and revitalizing the hair root foundation. Your platelet rich plasma contains a wealth of rich nutrients and growth factors that are vital to producing new tissue and stem cell migration which ultimately activates, rejuvenates, and regenerates cells throughout the body via its natural biology. For enhanced results, platelet rich plasma can be combined with such other injectable procedures as microneedling. Restore your natural beauty with platelet rich plasma injectable procedures from Re:Invent Health & Fitness! Contact one of our experienced clinicians to learn more and arrange for a consultation.

Dermal Fillers

Do you find yourself looking in the mirror and seeing your mother’s or your father’s face? Are you tired of being told you look like you haven’t had enough rest or you look angry or sad, especially when you’re not? Fortunately, there’s a simple way to improve wrinkling and sagging and take years off your face. Quick injections of dermal fillers (Hyaluronic Acid) help our patients look as good as they feel. Hyaluronic acid is a type of sugar (polysaccharide) that is present in body tissues, such as in skin and cartilage. It is able to combine with water and swell when in gel form, causing a smoothing/filling effect. In some cases, hyaluronic acid used in dermal fillers is chemically modified (crosslinked) to make it last longer in the body.Hyaluronic acid can effectively treat:

  • Smile lines

  • Facial wrinkles & creases

  • Forehead lines

  • Sunken temples

  • Hollow cheeks

  • Nasolabial folds

  • Under eye hollows

  • Thin lips

  • Sagging chin / jaw

  • Marionette lines

  • Aged hands

  • Loss of volume

At Re:Invent Health & Fitness, our team believes subtle changes make a big difference, and we customize each person’s injectable plan during a consultation to produce the best possible results in each unique case.

Belotero

Belotero is a dermal filler treatment that’s meant to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and to also bring volume and fullness to specific parts of the face. It is made up of a gel-like substance built on a base of hyaluronic acid that is injected under the skin. Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in our bodies and helps produce collagen. As we age, this process slows down, allowing wrinkles to form and skin to sag. With a small needle, Belotero is injected just underneath the skin, and depending on the procedure, these injections can take between 15 and 60 minutes to complete. Expect the full effect of your Belotero treatment to be visible almost immediately. This treatment is mostly intended for use around the face, specifically cheeks, temples and lips, but can be applied elsewhere as well. Belotero fillers were approved for cosmetic use by the FDA in 2011 and has become an exceedingly popular brand for those seeking treatment of fine facial lines. The type of procedure will determine how many injections are required.

Miconeedling

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy improves the overall health and appearance of your skin. This treatment is suited for individuals with mild to severe acne scars, surgical scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, fine lines, skin laxity, sun damage and general loss of collagen and elastin. Microneedling procedure stimulates the natural collagen production of the body, promoting a youthful appearance of the skin. A successful collagen induction through microneedling therapy involves the proper microneedling device and additional cosmetic procedure. You won’t notice immediate results because the microinjuries caused by the treatment heal gradually, generating collagen in the deeper layers of skin during that process. As the healing process continues over the course of several weeks, you’ll begin to notice smoother and tighter skin. Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is the most common treatment to help eliminate unwanted spider veins. Many of us have red or purple colored spider veins that develop on our legs, making us self-conscious and wanting to hide the affected areas. Although they don’t pose any sort of medical threat, these veins can be damaging to our confidence and hinder our self-esteem. Sclerotherapy involves an injection of a solution (generally a salt solution) directly into the vein. The solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to swell and stick together, and the blood to clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. In most cases, the salt solution is injected through a very fine needle directly into the vein. At this point, you may experience mild discomfort and cramping for one to two minutes, especially when larger veins are injected. The procedure itself takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes. The number of veins injected in one session varies, and depends on the size and location of the veins, as well as the general medical condition of the patient. You are not eligible if you are pregnant or bedridden. You can have sclerotherapy if you take birth control pills. If you have had a blood clot in the past, your eligibility will be decided on an individual basis, and will depend on the overall health of the area needing treatment as well as the reason for the clot. Prior to the procedure, you will have an initial consultation with one of our staff members who will decide if you’re a good candidate for sclerotherapy. PDO Threads

As we age, our facial support structure weakens and we begin to lose a lot of facial volume. This, paired with gravity pulling the facial structures down, results in the development of jowling, periorbital hollowness, laugh lines as well as marionette lines. At Re:Invent Health & Fitness, we use PDO threads or a thread facelift, as an effective way to lift loose skin without having the need for surgery. Non-surgical thread lift is a procedure in which threads are inserted just below the surface of the skin in order to lift and strategically reposition the skin. Because the threads are a foreign element that your body doesn’t recognize, they stimulate a wound healing response, which in turn promotes the natural production of collagen, elastin, and binding tissue. The natural production of these regenerative elements are what allow your own body to maintain the results of your thread lift. PDO threads can address most areas of the face such as, the cheeks, jowls, neck, eyebrows, jaw line, areas under the eyes and around the nose, crow’s feet, and marionette lines. There are different types of PDO threads:

  • Mono threads are a single PDO smooth filament made without barbs. They are typically inserted in a mesh-like pattern to achieve maximum tightening effects. With mono threads the main goal is really to tighten the skin, rather than to lift it. Mono threads are typically used to address forehead lines, superficial facial wrinkles, as well as sagging skin on the neck. That being said, they can also be used on all parts of the face, arms, legs and body.

  • Screw threads are a collection of 122 threads that have been intertwined around the insertion needle. They help reverse sunken areas by offering skin tightening, support, and lifting.

  • Cog threads are similar to mono threads but the primary difference is that they have barbs that attach to the underside of the skin. They offer support to the area that is being lifted. They also promote collagen production around the threads and their barbs. Cog threads are typically used to address the mid-face, jawline, neck, eyebrows, and nose.

The type of thread used is really dependent on your particular needs. When you come in for your complimentary consultation we can discuss which threads will give you the best possible result. To find out more, please contact us by phone or e-mail or by filling out the Request A Consultation form.
